Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist specializing in telehealth to support K-12 students in a public school setting. This contract position spans the current school year, from ASAP through May 22, 2026, offering 35 hours per week (7 hours daily plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch). The location is in the Metairie, LA area, with services delivered primarily via teletherapy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention plans
- Providing telehealth counseling and support to address diverse student needs
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Active Louisiana Department of Education certification as a school psychologist
- Current full licensure in Louisiana and licensure in the state of residence, if applicable
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a school psychologist within Louisiana schools
- Demonstrated proficiency in teletherapy and virtual service delivery
- Successful completion of a technical screening process
- At least one documented professional reference
